The Lott contributes $500,000 to flood relief

14 March 2022

On behalf of our customers, retailers and employees, our Lotteries business proudly contributed $500,000 – half from Golden Casket unclaimed prize money – to flood relief efforts in Queensland and NSW at the weekend.

The Lott Sponsorship and Community Manager Hans de Koning made the donation during the Australia Unites: Red Cross Flood Appeal, which raised more than $25 million for flood victims.

The special telethon was broadcast on Australia’s three major commercial networks on Saturday, 12 March.

We hope this donation goes some way to helping to provide support to flood-affected Australians and their communities at this challenging time.
