Tabcorp’s goal is to be the best place to work and to provide our employees with a rewarding and safe working environment.
We are committed to fostering an inclusive culture that reflects a diverse workplace, where team members openly share their unique perspectives, challenge the status quo and contribute their experience to achieve the best possible business outcome. The main areas of focus for Tabcorp in the workplace are inclusion and diversity, culture, employee engagement, learning and development, recognition, and health, safety and wellbeing.
Diversity and Gender Equality
Since establishing a Diversity Council in 2012, Tabcorp has introduced a number of initiatives, including 18 weeks’ paid parental leave for primary carers and market-leading paid secondary carer’s leave of six weeks; a Women’s Mentoring Program, which more than 150 women have participated in; flexi leave day entitlements; and a commitment to increasing the representation of women in our senior leadership group. The Inclusion and Diversity policy is available from the Corporate Governance section of this website.
Employer of Choice for Gender Equality
In February 2020, Tabcorp received the Employer of Choice for Gender Equality citation by the Federal Government’s Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA). This was the fifth consecutive year that Tabcorp was awarded this citation, which recognises the great work Tabcorp has delivered over a number of years to promote workplace gender diversity.
