TAB continues its support of the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia

20 November 2020

Tabcorp’s wagering arm TAB was pleased to continue its support of the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia today with a $100,000 donation.

Every time followers of TAB’s social media channels shared an episode of Hot Seats - the hilarious online sports show hosted by comedians Sam Simmons and Andrew Barnett - TAB donated $1 to PCFA, up to $100,000.

Tabcorp’s Head of Brand & Marketing Kent Madders had the honour of presenting the cheque on behalf of TAB to PCFA General Manager Fundraising Events Katie Matthews.

It was done over sausages and sauce because the donation kicked off TAB’s partnership with the PCFA on its Big Aussie Barbie campaign encouraging people to host a barbecue on the last weekend of November to raise funds and awareness for men’s health.

“Massive thanks to TAB as your contribution is changing lives,” Katie said.

“Thanks to you we can continue to provide life-saving research, life-changing nursing and vital support to Aussie men and their families in what has been a challenging year.

“We’re also thankful of your generous support of our Big Aussie Barbie. There’s still time to register to host your own barbie from 27-29 November with your mates.”
