About the Service Technician Role

Our Service Technicians play an important role in keeping the lights on - quite literally. The role is incredibly varied. On any given day, our technicians might find themselves:

  • Conducting maintenance and repairs on gaming machines to ensure they operate smoothly
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues to minimise downtime
  • Providing exceptional customer service to our partner venues, pubs and clubs
  • Keeping detailed records of maintenance and repairs

Physical Requirements

The role of a Service Technician can be physically demanding. Some of the physical tasks our technicians perform include:

  • Driving: Our Service Technicians often spend significant amounts of time on the road, driving great distances between locations to service our machines.
  • Kneeling and Bending: Repairing and maintaining machines often requires technicians to kneel and bend to access different components.
  • Lifting Machinery: At times gaming machines will need to be lifted and moved. Typically, this gets done in pairs and our tech mechanical aids assist with heavier lifts, ensuring tasks are manageable and safe.

Work Life Balance

Our technicians work on a rotating roster to ensure a good work-life balance. You will have a mix of day, evening, and weekend shifts, with opportunities for paid overtime.

Tools of Trade

A tool of trade vehicle (for both personal and professional use), laptop and phone are provided.

Leave

Up to 5 weeks’ annual leave, plus additional leave benefits, including up to 18 weeks’ paid parental leave.
